Jim Lenon placed his $100.00 for a win on Melbourne, Race 4, No. 1 - Mosheen, which come 2nd place - Bad luck Jim. No luck either for Warwick Bradley who bet his $100.00 on a win at Sydney - Race 5, No. 1 - Beaded, which also come 2nd place.
Jim Lenon will hand over to Bruce Whitmill for Team 1.
Warwick Bradley will hand over to Mick Wykamp for Team 2.

This is how it works: The Punters' Club is restricted to 24 members who contribute $10 per week for 52 weeks prior to the running of the 2012 Melbourne Cup. Each week the Club bets $100 and keeps $140 to form a Melbourne Cup Sweep pool. All returns from the weekly bets are divided evenly and a dividend is paid to all members on the Sunday before the Cup. From the $140 kept for the pool, $7,000 will be paid out in sweep prizes (1st - $4,000, 2nd - $2,000, 3rd - $1,000) and $280 will go towards a Melbourne Cup barbecue on the Sunday before the Melbourne Cup.

Last week, Warren Stanton (A guest from Sydney staying at the club) got the chance to putt, but missed the 7 metre putt, pushing the jackpot up to $2,400 next Friday!!
The putting distances have been changed to make winning the jackpot a bit easier for patrons. There's never been a better time to have a go.
